At Children’s Dentistry of Arlington we want your child’s dental experience to be as comfortable as possible. We understand that child patients and their parents may have some anxiety about going to the dentist. We spend extra time with our patients and strive to provide a positive dental environment. Our goal is to develop a strong, positive relationship with each child.
Preventative Care
Good oral habits are learned early and can help kids build healthy habits for a lifetime. Our office includes education in age appropriate brushing and flossing techniques at the initial and recall visits. Preventive care includes a dental cleaning by the hygienist and a complete examination by the dentist.
Restorative Care
If your child needs restorative dental treatment, the dentist will explain the dental needs, treatment options and answer your questions. Our office offers nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and other treatment modalities to make your child’s visit more comfortable. A separate treatment visit will be scheduled to allow for the additional time needed for restorative care.
Dental Sealants
Sealants are a thin coating placed on permanent molars to help prevent decay on the chewing surfaces of the posterior teeth. Our office offers tooth colored sealants. More information about dental sealants can be provided at your next visit.
Emergency Care
If your child has a dental emergency, please call the office at 817-261-3100 and we will schedule an appointment for them as soon as possible. If you call after hours, our voicemail message will provide information on how to contact us.
